It is a legal requirement and condition of enrolment at schools that all international students under the age of 18 years must have a parent or guardian in China . A guardian is a person or organization who accepts responsibility for a student administration and behavior, and is the main contact for all school communications. The guardian must be legally appointed by the parents. Guardianship is an arrangement between the student's parents and the person or legal organization acting as the student's guardian. International students attending schools in Beijing must have a guardian who is resident in Beijing with a permanent residence. The guardian has the duty to represent the student for his/her rights and interests at school and at the Chinese court or any other organs of law, in regard to his/her studying and school life. This guardian has the legal power to make decisions regarding emergency medical treatment / operations if required. Under-18s who want to study in China must submit a notarized Guardian Entrust Deed, and a notarized ‘Guardian's Letter of Guarantee' while enrolling at a school in Beijing . We realize that it is difficult for families living overseas and having no personal contacts in Beijing to appoint a guardian in whose care they may confidently leave their son or daughter during study abroad and whom they would wish take legal responsibility for their child's welfare.
We provide a complete range of guardian and related services for international students within Beijing , China . We oversee the students' welfare and education while they are studying or visiting in Beijing . An accessible and reliable guardianship service can help students to ease culture shock and settling in. Moreover, our guardianships provide on going support and advocacy for students. As CWEHS is independent of school and homestay it can offer unbiased advice and representation of the student and his/her parents. CWEHS is committed to provide individual care of a high standard to all enrolled students to gain the maximum benefit from his/her international education.

Our basic guardianship services
• Providing an appropriate guardian only /guardianship homestay with specially selected families close to the school.
• Regular visits or contact with the school/ the guardian homestay family to monitor academic progress and general welfare.
• Submitting regular written reports to parents.
• Always available to the students parents with respect to any questions or concerns.
• Attendance at school parent-teacher meetings and school events.
• Arranging visits to doctors and /or dentists when necessary.
• Always available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week in the event of an emergency situation.
• Assistance with visa and Residence Permit applications and extensions in China .
• Arranging for the student to be met on arrival in Beijing and escorted safely to school/homestay.
• Booking of air tickets and reconfirmation of flights for the child to and from Beijing .
Related services
1.Travel arrangements including the booking and confirmation of flight tickets.
2.Accompanying the student on the first day of school to ensure that all registration procedures are completed properly and fees are paid at the appropriate times.
3. Assistance with the purchase of the school uniform and school stationary supplies and familiarizing students with the closest supermarkets and shopping malls closest to their residence or school.
4.Arranging for extra tutoring that might be needed at student's request.
5.Arranging for health insurance at the student's parents request.
6.Accompanying the student to see a physician at student's request.
7.Organization of excursions and activities during holidays.
